      • A vape is observed to be sitting on a food prep counter in the back food prep area. Ensure that personal items are kept separate from food prep areas. The operator removed the indicated item during the inspection.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Paper towel is not observed in a dispenser at the handwashing sink in the back food prep area or at the handwashing sinks in the washrooms. Ensure that dispensers are provided for the paper towel at all handwashing sinks.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • No pest control report is observed. Ensure that a written pest control record is maintained. The AHS Pest Control Checklist was provided to the operator during the inspection.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • A buildup of grime is observed on the back receiving screen door. Ensure that the indicated door is cleaned and sanitized.

      • Spray bottles were not labeled. Operator labeled spray bottles during the inspection

      • Chlorine test strips that were available onsite did not activate while testing the sanitizer solution. Please purchase more chlorine test strips
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Water damaged materials noted underneath dishwashing sinks which may indicate that there is a water leak.
