      • In both the Waxing Room and Body Lasering Room, paper towels were not available at the handwashing sinks. Handwashing stations must be supplied with a suitable hand-drying method to support proper hand hygiene and prevent recontamination of clean hands.Ensure that all handwashing sinks are continuously stocked with paper towels and maintained with all required handwashing supplies at all times.

      • Multiple single-use eyeshadow applicators were observed to be used and stored in several areas of the facility including the waxing room, pedicure trolleys and manicure tables. During the inspection, the operator discarded the used applicators.Ensure that all single-use tools are discarded immediately after use and are not cleaned, reused, or stored for future use.

      • High-level disinfectant (Preempt CS20) was observed to be expired at the time of inspection. Expired disinfectants may not be effective in achieving the required level of disinfection and should not be used for infection prevention and control purposes.Facility operator confirmed purchase of new high-level disinfectant by the following day.Ensure that expired high-level disinfectant was discarded immediately and replaced with a current, unexpired product. Disinfectants should be monitored regularly to ensure they remain within their expiry dates and are used according to the manufacturer's instructions.
