      • Equipment is not being cleaned properly as hair is evident on perm rods, brushes, and clippers. Discussed process with staff onsite.Store clean towels in a manner that they are not open to contamination as discussed.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Disinfectants are expired (2013 and 2025). Acquire new disinfectants for combs, clippers and contact surfaces.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • Ensure that the facility is cleaned more regularly and items that are not being used are removed.

      • - 1. Operator indicated that the barbicide was being changed weekly. ** According to the manufacturers' instruction, barbicide must be prepared daily ( or more often if solution becomes soiled)2. Barbicide solution was half full in the jar and also contained alot of debris/ hair/ floaties. ** Please ensure tools are being cleaned prior to immersion into the barbicide solution. Please also make sure the barbicide solution is full enough so the tools can be fully immersed in solution. -
