3 of 6 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there was 1 inspection with 0 infractions recorded. The higher-risk findings here relate to: Handwashing and staff hygiene and Cleaning and sanitizing.

What these findings mean
Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.
Handwashing and staff hygieneHigher risk
Hands are the main way germs like norovirus move from people to food. Inspectors look for stocked, accessible handwashing sinks, staff washing hands when required, hair restraints, and sick employees being kept away from food. Gaps here can spread illness quickly.
Recorded once on August 15, 2019. For example:
5 Has the operator taken steps to ensure employees are using adequate hygiene measures to prevent contamination of food?
Cleaning and sanitizingHigher risk
Anything that touches food, such as cutting boards, dishes and utensils, must be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Inspectors check dishwasher temperatures, sanitizer strength and how wiping cloths are stored. Poor sanitizing lets bacteria survive from one use to the next.
Recorded once on August 14, 2015. For example:
8 - Are equipment, food contact surfaces and utensils washed, sanitized and stored in a manner that removes/prevents contamination?
Permits, records and postingLower risk
Operating permits, required signage, written procedures and logs. These findings are administrative: the documentation was missing or out of date at the time of inspection.
Recorded once on July 5, 2018. For example:
4 Are written sanitation procedures (Sanitation Plan) current and available on site?
Equipment and utensilsLower risk
Equipment has to be built from cleanable materials, kept in good repair and stored properly. These findings are mostly about upkeep, like a cracked shelf, a worn gasket or utensils stored the wrong way. They are generally lower risk but show how well the kitchen is maintained.
Recorded once on August 14, 2015. For example:
14 - Are the premises, equipment and utensils designed and maintained to ensure safe and sanitary food handling?

Most comfortable place to relax with a good movie. The chairs here recline so try and not fall asleep. The popcorn is always popping, the candy is tasty and ice cold drinks are refreshing. The best place to watch a movie in the valley hands down. So put your feet up and enjoy the movie.

We saw Spiderman here the other night and really enjoyed the film, but unfortunately the theatre itself is showing its age. The seats are quite worn, and my recliner was completely broken—I ended up having to share my wife's footrest just to get somewhat comfortable. The theatre was also uncomfortably warm for much of the movie. The air conditioning would suddenly kick in, cool things down briefly, and then shut off again. We saw the movie in 3D, and the picture also seemed noticeably too dim through the glasses. I realize 3D projection naturally loses some brightness, but there are industry standards for light levels measured through the 3D glasses, so theatres are supposed to account for that loss to some degree. This presentation just felt darker than it should have. It's a shame because the location is very convenient and there's plenty of parking. But the actual theatre is badly in need of maintenance and, at this point, probably a fairly substantial overhaul.

This theatre is really aging and needs updating. The seats absolutely need replacing. No one was there to validate our tickets when we arrived. We just walked in. We only saw one employee when we were there. Landmark in Kelowna is a better choice, although Orchard Plaza has a better central location.

Caught a late showing here a couple of weeks ago while passing through Kelowna, and the reserved seating system made it genuinely stress-free to walk in five minutes before the film started. The seats in the auditorium I was in were those wide, properly cushioned recliners that you don't always find outside major city locations, which was a pleasant surprise. Staff at the concession counter were quick and friendly without being robotic about it, and the popcorn was actually fresh rather than sitting under a lamp since noon. Solid stop for anyone who needs a reliable cinema experience away from home, and I'd come back without hesitation next time I'm in the Okanagan.

Overprice popcorn or the whole menu really, added butter for 3 bucks! What a rip off.You can recline the chair but you can see that its really old. The leather is peeling off. Service was terrible. Those staff never smile, felt like they dont like their job.
