- Observation(s): Protein powder observed expired at time of inspection. Ensure items in the pharmacy section are monitored and any expired products are removed. Operator removed item at time of inspection.

- Observation(s): Multiple dish washing stations observed with expired sanitizer product. Ensure that only sanitizers within expiry are used.

- Observation(s): Observed clean and sanitised food scopes transported in cardboard boxes. Ensure scoops are transported in a container that is easily cleaned and sanitised.

- Observation(s): Handwash stations observed without paper towel. Ensure handwashing stations are supplied with single-service products for hand drying If hand sanitizer is to be used in place of handwashing, ensure hand sanitizer is within expiry. Reminder that hand sanitizer is not to be used if hands are visibly dirty or greasy.

- F2.4 - Are foods handled in a sanitary manner and protected from contamination?
- Observation(s): Ready to eat food (smoked salmon) in the seafood department glass front display refrigerator was observed immediately beside raw fish (inadequate separation and no barrier between to prevent cross-contamination). Ready to eat food inside this display case was also observed being stored directly on top of Kale; the kale is being reused, "cleaned" with a low concentration veggie wash and not differentiated for storage of ready to eat food vs raw fish. "Veggie wash" hydrogen peroxide concentration was noted on the spec sheet to be mixing at <100ppm - test strips were not available to confirm hydrogen peroxide levels

- Observation(s): Empty containers and equipment were observed being stored in front of the meat department hand sink and wash sinks. Multiple activities that are not commonly observed in a meat department cutting room were noted at the time of inspection, including, storage of bins with vegetable waste and storage of packing containers for the grocery home delivery program. One meat department counter top was observed as worn and requiring resurfacing/replacement. The back storage area between the vegetable trimming area and bulk food storage area was cluttered and requires cleaning under shelving, flooring, along walls.
