      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - the main kitchen center hand-wash sink was obstructed with food storage equipment, and must be accessible for staff hand-washing at all times. This was corrected during the inspection.

      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - note that dry food storage containers in the rear storage room were not all being covered when not in use (with staff advised to always ensure to fully cover dry food storage containers after use). This violation was corrected at time of inspection.

      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - note that the main kitchen hand-wash sink (near the walk-in cooler and freezer units) was obstructed with stored food items on a tray. Even though there is a second hand-wash sink accessible on the opposite side of the main kitchen, all hand-wash sinks in the food premises must be accessible and well supplied at all times (with liquid soap and paper towels). This violation was corrected during the inspection.

      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - at time of inspection, the main kitchen hand-wash sink was obstructed by food storage (tray of food items over the sink). All staff are to ensure each hand-wash sink is accessible and functional with hot and cold running water under pressure, and well supplied with liquid soap and paper towels.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - pest control records are to be made available at the food premises for review (whether as a paper copy or a digital file).Also, the 'AHS monthly pest control checklist' will be provided by email to the operator for review and use, as necessary.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - the Food Handling Permit is current and has been paid for, but was not posted in a conspicuous location visible to the public (to be posted alongside the city business license at the front hostess desk).
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • No - the operator is to ensure the rear storage room is better organized to ensure ease of cleaning and inspection around equipment, shelving, boxes, dry food storage containers, recyclables, canisters, etc. Also, ensure articles of clothing are stored separately from food products (to avoid possible cross-contamination).
