Inspection summary
Farming Karma Fruit Company has been inspected 3 times by Interior Health Authority since September 20, 2022. The most recent inspection, on July 21, 2026, recorded 2 infractions.
1 of 3 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there was 1 inspection with 2 infractions recorded. The higher-risk findings here relate to: Cleaning and sanitizing and Protecting food from contamination.
What these findings mean
Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.
Cleaning and sanitizingHigher risk
Anything that touches food, such as cutting boards, dishes and utensils, must be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Inspectors check dishwasher temperatures, sanitizer strength and how wiping cloths are stored. Poor sanitizing lets bacteria survive from one use to the next.
Recorded once on July 21, 2026. For example:
3 Are food contact surfaces, utensils and equipment washed and sanitized in a manner that removes/prevents contamination?
Protecting food from contaminationHigher risk
This covers how food is stored, prepared and displayed: raw meat kept away from ready-to-eat food, food covered and stored off the floor, and nothing dripping or splashing into it. Cross-contamination from raw to cooked food is a direct route for salmonella and E. coli.
Recorded once on September 20, 2022. For example:
5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
Building, plumbing and upkeepLower risk
Floors, walls and ceilings must be smooth and clean, with working lighting, ventilation, plumbing, hot and cold water, and washrooms. These are rarely an immediate food-safety risk on their own, but persistent problems can lead to pest or sanitation issues.
Recorded once on September 20, 2022. For example:
2 Is the premises construction and layout unchanged and in accordance with approved plans?
Other findingsLower risk
Findings that do not fit the categories above, such as follow-ups that confirm an earlier violation was corrected, or requirements specific to this type of facility.
Recorded once on July 21, 2026. For example:
1 Does the facility have proper monitoring supplies?

We purchased 7 cases at the Fort Langley Christmas market this past weekend. The salesperson was patient and offered us all flavours for tasting. These beverages were do not compare to other carbonated beverages you would buy from the supermarket. We enjoyed a Conscious Cosmopolitan with a drop of vodka, lemon peel and a 2oz of lemon or lime juice. Looking forward to enjoying it over the holidays.

Amazing tasting experience with fabulous service! It was hard to choose among the soda & mocktail flavors.

Hidden gem from our Kelowna getaway trip. It is a must visit with great atmosphere and free soda tasting! If you are on the way to Kangaroo creek farm from Kelowna, stop by and enjoy these refreshing locally made soda with no artificial and sugary taste, just pure local goodness. The tasting room is opened all year round; don’t get fooled by the Apple Map, Google the tasting room hours. I personally absolutely love their mocktail drinks, especially blackberry margarita and mango mellow mimosa. I can taste REAL mango sweetness, not those artificial sweeteners. Kids and husband love their pear, apple and peach soda. And yes, they have more than just soda — spirit soda with vodka. Absolutely awesome refreshments. We ended up got quite a few boxes. Even though their products are sold in Save on Foods and BC Liquor stores, the tasting room has full selections plus discounts. Boys claimed the soda tasting was the best of this trip and wanted to visit again.

Nice place to stay and near for the city. Water and energy ok for my trailer. Clean washroom. The laundry was locker and no shower. The store says open 10 am but wa wait and wait and still closed. Fruit stand means no fruit stand. The project is very good but we can’t see it working well. I recommend stay cuz near from city and no problem with water and power. It located in a wonderful place w lots trees and birds 🦅

We went to the tasting bar. Our server was really friendly and explained all the various sodas they had. Tasting was free and they don't restrict you to what you can try. The pear and peach sodas are my favorites plus the mellow mimosa is simply delicious. I bought several cases. Lol
