      • An unlocked cupboard at child height had a tin of polyurethane paint and a microbiology science kit with a warning label stating that it had potentially harmful chemicals and was a choking hazard for children. Upon instruction, the operator removed both items to a place inaccessible to children.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The facility did not have test strips onsite to verify that the disinfectant was at the appropriate concentration for disinfection. The operator was educated on the importance of testing the disinfectant concentration and was instructed to keep test strips onsite.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • There is no dedicated toy washing sink in the facility. The operator was educated on the importance of having a toy washing sink.
