    This place was magical!!! ! I was looking for a 3 night yoga retreat in the Kootenays and Johanna, the host at For-Rest , designed a private yoga retreat that offered amazing yoga, hiking, time at the water, sound bath healing, Thai massage, the most DELICIOUS cuisine prepared by Johanna herself (a trained culinary chef) and soooooo much more. My entire experience was beyond 5 star and I will most certainly plan another retreat stay at For-Rest. I stayed in The Casita which was so comfortable and clean. Sliding doors from the bedroom led to your private back deck with a swinging chair, a hammock, outdoor dining and a spectacular view of the mountains. I really can’t say enough of my experience and the generosity of the host. Thank you so much again Joanna xo

    Loved it. Quiet. Beautifully and naturally treed. our accommodation was superb. The Stars and milky way were bright; indeed I stood outside and pondered our existence in the middle of the night - savoring the moment - for quite a while :)
