      • Worn pedicure chairs were observed during the reinspection.-Please repair to ensure smooth, non-porous and easy to clean surfaces.

      • Reusable semi-critical equipment, such as nail cutter, nippers, and cuticle removers, were disinfected with preempt RTU.-Please obtain and use high-level disinfectant such as preempt CS20 or HLD5 to disinfect these equipment.
    • 24. Are waste sharps disposed of properly?
      • Unsuitable sharp container was observed onsite.-Please obtain and use suitable sharp container to prevent against sharp exposure and ensure proper disposal of waste.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • Refectocil colour developer was not available onsite, operator was using a different hair product to mix with refectocil colour pigments.-Please follow manufacturer's instructions for usage. Obtain and use the appropriate colour developer for brow tinting service.

      • Porous and uncleanable equipment such as nail files and bluffers were not being discarded after use, used nail files and bluffers were seen onsite during the inspection.-Please do not reuse uncleanable equipment such as nail files and bluffers to prevent spread of infection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. Alcohol was being used to sanitize reusable semi-critical tools such as nail cuticles and scissors.Please use high-level disinfectant such as preempt HLD5 or CS20 to ensure proper disinfection.2. Low-level disinfectant, Pine Sol, was used to sanitize pedicure basins.-Please procure and use intermediate-level disinfectant such as preempt RTU or Concentrate to sanitize the pedicure basins.

      • Worn chair with rough surfaces was observed in the facility's waxing room.-Please remove or repair the indicated chair to ensure sanitary condition.
