    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Kelowna Incontournable! ​Ga-on Sushi is a true local gem run by the wonderful owner Alice and her husband. The food is incredibly fresh—the salmon and tuna nigiri literally melt in your mouth, and the specialty rolls are a flavor explosion! Plates presentation is amazing 👏 I forgot to mention how rich the miso soup 🍲 is, the best I ever had. Their plates really look like the pictures in the menu presentation! ​Make sure to save room for the Tempura Ice Cream; the crispy, warm shell with the cold center is the perfect sweet finale. ​The entire restaurant is meticulously clean, from the dining area to the spotless washrooms, making for a perfect atmosphere. The price are very affordable and the quality of fresh food is surpassing all sushi shops I ever visited. We are local regulars. Between the top-tier service and the masterful food, this place is a must-visit. Your taste buds will thank you!

    The food was delicious and the salmon maki salmon was hands down the best. The food is fresh and our waitress was very kind and sweet. We all loved our time here and we will definitely be coming here again on our next vacation to BC.

    Food was good, fresh & tasty. Ordered Veggie Tempura which was nice and crispy. Spring rolls were crispy from the outside and the stuffing was finely minced but lacked some taste. Gyoza had pork filling, it was tasty. Lastly, ordered chicken teriyaki rolls which were freshly made. Chicken was not chewy like at some places and the sauces used were good. Overall a nice place but I personally didn't like the service as much. I had to look for her and call her twice. Plus when I was taking restaurant pics for Google maps, she gave me a weird look. Didn't find the service as friendly or comfortable if that makes sense.

    Best sushi restaurant! This place is a hidden gem. Food quality is excellent. The best sushi in Kelowna by far. Wonderful staff/owners - very friendly. They are very accommodating for those needing Gluten-free options. They have real crab, and GF soy sauce. Highly recommend eating here.
