      • There was no warning signage in the IPL room for the energy emitting process.-Ensure there is written procedures and signage posted for clients at the IPL room for the energy emitting process. A sample emailed to operator.
    • 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
      • Facial sponges were hanged for drying in the reprocessing room.-Ensure porous and uncleanable equipment are not reprocessed for reuse. Single use only.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • The handwash and reprocessing soap container were unlabeled.-Ensure containers are labeled to identify the content.
    • 31. Are sinks accessible and used appropriately for the personal services provided?
      • The sink used for reprocessing is used as a dual sink for handwashing without disinfecting before reprocessing.-Ensure there is a designated area for reprocessing of tools. Disinfect dual sink before reprocessing with intermediate or low-level disinfectant.
    • 33. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Reuseable cups used to serve clients were not sanitized after cleaning.-No reuseable cups should be used to serve client as there is no 2-compartment sink or dishwasher available for sanitizing dishes. Single use disposable cups are allowed.
