    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • 1- Observed the scoop for sugar placed on an open book page on the table. This could get contaminated with dirt. When told, staff removed for proper washing and to place it in a proper container.2- Jackets for use by staff in the walk-in freezer was hanged on the shelf pole and resting on the packaged food condiments stored on the shelf in the storage room. When told, staff removed jackets and placed them on the designated hook beside the shelf during the inspection.
    • 09. Are chemicals stored and handled in a safe manner?
      • Observed a spray bottle with content at the dishwashing station. The content was tested to be at 100 ppm chlorine. When told, staff label the bottle appropriately during the inspection.Ensure all chemical bottles in the facility are clearly labelled to identify their contents.

      • Chlorine sanitizing solution concentration was high. Staff prepared new solution to get the concentration t0 100 ppm during the inspection.Chlorine test strips were available.
