      • Observation(s): During a Water Quality Advisory, public service establishments MUST advise their clients and may wish to provide alternate water. A Boil Water Notice will be issued when a health risk assessment determines that an identified threat is a risk to drinking water users. Boiling water for at least one minute at a rolling boil can educe or eliminate the threat. During a Boil Water Notice: Public service establishments MUST advise their clientele as mentioned above and MUST provide alternate water o All activities that use tap water without further treatment should be considered at risk. Follow the attached “Guidelines for Food Premises During a Boil Water Notice”. Examples of “alternate” sources of water include bottled water, boiled water, and water from an approved point-of-use water treatment system.
