      • Water sample result received (collected Aug 27/24) returned positive for P Aeruginosa. Facility operator advised (Joanne). Joanne advised they had already received the result, and have voluntarily closed the hot tub. They will likely leave it closed for the season as the normal season end is late September. Joanne advised that should they decided to re-open they would super-chlorinate, drain, scrub, re-balance the pool and re-sample for satisfactory result prior to opening.

      • Positive for Pseudomonas aeruginosa for the hot tub component.August 13, 2024:Confirmed that the outdoor hot tub was super-chlorinated to 50 ppm chlorine, drained, scrubbed, and then refilled.Bacteriological water sample was collected from the hot tub following the inspection and submitted to the Tofield Health Centre for transportation to the Provincial Laboratory for testing.Result should be ready to view by the end of this week - will reach out to you once known.
