      • No written procedures were observed during inspection. Written procedures of the following are required to reduce risk to client. 1. Preparation of the Skin2. Post service care3.     • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • Sanitary hand drying such as paper towels or single use hand towels were not observed in the front room bathroom. All washroom facilities are required to have soap, running water, and sanitary hand drying to ensure proper handwashing. The operator replaced the empty hand towels.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • No high-level disinfectant test strips were available during inspection. All facilities that reprocess reusable equipment must have high level disinfectant test strips and maintain a log of pass/fail tests. Ensure that high-level disinfectant strips are available.
