      • Used nail buffers and files were observed in one of the workstations. These items are considered uncleanable and should not be re-used on multiple clients. Ensure that any single-use equipment used on a client is given to said client or disposed of after use.

      • Staff indicated that tools were only being immersed in high-level disinfectant for 5 minutes. The manufacturer's instructions for the type of high-level disinfectant used (CS20) requires a 20-minute contact time.

      • Tweezers and brushes used as part of waxing hair removal services are being disinfected using alcohol, which did not contain an identifiable DIN.Use a suitable low-level disinfectant, such as the Barbercide available onsite, to soak non-critical equipment.
