    • 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
      • Observation: Surfaces in the kitchen are not durable, easy to clean and/or in good condition, including: the floor in front of and beside the stoves which is damaged; kick boards under the new cupboards which have exposed particle board supports and in places bare wood between the supports; and the walls on either side of the window over the sinks and to the right of the main entry door where the drywall is unfinished.
      • Corrective Action: All surfaces in the kitchen must be durable, easily cleaned and non-toxic and to help ensure this is achieved the floor must be repaired or replaced; the bare wood kick boards and/or exposed particle board must be properly finished (e.g., painted) or proper kick boards must be installed; and unfinished and/or damaged sections of drywall must be finished and sealed (e.g., painted).
