      • -Chick peas were being used for Sensory in the Baby Room; these are a choking hazard. Please remove and do not use in baby or toddler rooms.-Kitchen cupboards were being used to store chemicals and did not have a lock. Please secure.- Knives were stored on the kitchen counter accessible to children. Please ensure that knives are stored secured or out of children’s reach.

      • -Please install a lock on the laundry room door to prevent children’s access.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • -A staff member in the Toddler Room was not following appropriate diapering procedures; hands were not washed between clients. Please ensure that handwashing is done between each client.- A staff member was observed using a re-useable cloth to wipe the diaper mat in the Toddler Room. Please ensure only single use paper towels are used.

      • - The paper towel holder on the wall of the Kinder Room washroom was broken. Please repair.

      • - Please ensure all garbage bins are lined with bags

      • - Some classrooms not in use were very cold; measured at 15C. Please ensure a minimum temperature of 20C can be maintained at the facility.
