    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • The operators are manually mixing the quat solution. The concentration measured greater than 500ppm. The manufacturer's instructions states to mix 2mL of quats per 1 litre of water. Ensure the manufacturer's instructions are followed when making the quats sanitizer solution. The operator remade the solution during the inspection.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • 1. There is a large gap at the bottom of the back exit door. The facility must be structurally sound to prevent the entry of pests. Install weatherstripping along the base of the back door. 2. There are overgrown weeds and plants on the exterior of the facility. Overgrown weeds and plants can allow pest harborage and attraction to the facility. Remove the overgrown weeds and plants and install pest monitoring traps on the exterior.
