      • Porous or uncleanable equipment such as nail bluffers was being reused.-Please discard or use as single-use disposable item any equipment that cannot be properly cleaned and disinfected to prevent spread of infection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. Hard surface and pedicure basin disinfectant, preempt RTU, was expired since 2020.-Please discard and do not use expired products to ensure effectiveness. Procure new preempt RTU.2. Reusable semi-critical equipment such as nail clippers/cutters were not disinfected after the clean process.-Please procure and use high-level disinfectant such as preempt CS20 or HLD5 to disinfect such tools after the cleaning procedure.-Please procure suitable test strips, monitor the high-level disinfectant's concentration and record test result daily if the solution is to be used for more than one day.
