      • 1. Reusable semi-critical equipment such as nail clippers, cuticle removers and foot files were not properly disinfected, these tools were not fully immersed in the preempt CS20 solution.-Please follow manufacturer's instructions in usage, ensure the indicated tools are fully immersed in the high-level disinfectant for the prescribed period of time.2. Preempt RTU, CS20 and high-level disinfectant test strips had expired.-Do not use expired products to ensure product efficacy, please procure and use effective disinfectants and test strips.-Also, ensure the high-level disinfectant's concentration is monitored and its test result documented as required.

      • Single-use brow brushes were being reused; brow brush was noted with dark residues on it.-Equipment labeled as single-use or porous and uncleanable such as brow brushes, nail files, nail bluffers must be discarded after use on one client.-Please discard all single-use equipment after they have been used on one client.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Reusable semi-critical instrument such as nail clippers were being disinfected with alcohol and preempt RTU.-Reusable semi-critical equipment must be disinfected with high-level disinfectant such as preempt CS20 or HlD5.
