    • 02. Is all food in this facility from an approved source and/or properly labelled?
      • Sandwiches and desserts were from the Italian Bakery. Operator purchases bulk pre-made sandwiches & desserts from the facility and either repackages it or sells it as is individually. The items for sale had the name of facility (Italian Bakery) and list of ingredients but was missing contact information such as address. Please include contact information on the packaging. This is a requirement under the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Single compartment sink had soap but was missing paper towels. Operator added paper towels but indicated that they could not drill holes in the wall. It was accepted to place it under the sink as there was little food handling.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Permit was not posted at the time. Operator showed electronic copy of the permit. Please print off and post the permit in an area visible to the public.
