      • A staff member was observed washing their hands at a reprocessing sink. Handwashing is not permitted at a sink used for reprocessing unless a written procedure is established and followed to facilitate the decontamination of a dual-purpose sink.

      • **CORRECTED**1. Wooden spoon was being used to scoop salt for pedicure bath. Spoon removed during the inspection, as it is not easily cleanable or able to be adequately disinfected.

      • **CORRECTED**1. CS20 high level disinfectant that was in use expired on October 13, 2023. A new CS20 bottle was available on site with expiry date July 16, 2024. 2. Staff demonstrated reprocessing procedure but did not air-dry equipment before putting in CS20. Discussed during inspection proper reprocessing procedures. Equipment must be washed and cleaned, rinsed, air dried, disinfected, rinsed and then air dried. COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:1. Ensure staff are following expiry dates. 2. Ensure staff are following proper reprocessing procedures.
