      • The diaper changing pads in the baby room, toddler room, and washroom are ripped. All damaged pads must be replaced immediately.- Post the diaper change procedure on all diaper change stations.

      • An expired antibiotic ointment and a soiled bandage found in the first aid kit were discarded during inspection.

      • Clean the interior of the microwave in the baby room.Clean the diaper change pad station in the general washroom.

      • The diaper changing pad in the shared washroom has tears in the cover. Please replace the pad.

      • Room 1 did not have any paper towel. Upon request, the paper towel supply was re-stocked. Please ensure all handwashing sinks have soap and paper towel available.

      • - Electrical outlet is being covered with cardboard.Please make sure that the electrical outlet is adequately protected by a wall plate that facilitates easy cleaning and provides a secure enclosure for the electrical wiring.

      • - Electrical cover in the OSC room is detached from the wall and is being sealed using duct tape. Please ensure the electrical cover is reattached to the wall to minimize the risk of electrical hazards and ensuring proper function.

      • - The floor drain cover in the main washroom is being sealed with duct tape which does not adequately provide a surface that can be cleaned and disinfected properly and is not durable. Please ensure the drain cover is sealed to the floor, to provide a surface area that can be cleaned and disinfected adequately, is nonabsorbent, smooth and durable.

      • - Diapering pad in the main washroom accessible to children is in disrepair. The pad has a large tear across the center.

      • - The first aid kit in the preschool room is not adequately stocked. Please ensure first aid kits are adequately stocked with supplies to ensure readiness in the event of first aid.

      • - The floor drain cover in the main washroom is not attached to the drain and is now becoming a tripping hazard.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • - The hand sink in the preschool room is showing evidence of disrepair. There is evidence of water damage under the sink and a container under the p-trap that was filled with water. Also evidence of significant black mould.Please ensure the hand sink plumbing is repaired to prevent further deterioration to the flooring under the sink and surrounding area. Please also remove black mould from under the sink.

      • - In the infant room, staff are labelling the crib with green tape. The tape however is showing signs of wear, such as tearing and handing down into the crib creating a safety hazard (e.g, chocking). The condition of the tape is also not smooth and non-absorbent, impacting proper cleaning and disinfection of the crib surface.

      • - Cleaning equipment is being stored in proximity of personal care products. Please ensure cleaning equipment is stored away from personal care products to prevent contamination.

      • - In the gross motor room in the far-left corner is a large pile of unorganized storage of equipment. Please organize the area to ensure adequate cleaning of the space can be performed and to prevent conditions suitable for pest harborage.
