    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • 1- The cover of the diapering mat in the blue classroom appeared not in good repair, exposing the foam material underneath.2 - There is no wipeable cover on the diapering mat in the yellow classroom. The black foam material has transparent tape wrapped round at the middle. This implies that the surface is not being properly disinfected due to the absorbing nature of the material.*Repair/Replace to ensure that diapering surfaces are maintained in good repair, wipeable, and properly clean and disinfected at all times.Concentration of the bleach solution in most of the classrooms adequate at the time of inspection. Chlorine test strips were available.

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • 1- The cover of the diapering mat in the blue classroom appeared not in good repair, exposing the foam material underneath.2 - There is no wipeable cover on the diapering mat in the yellow classroom. Concentration of the bleach solution in most of the classrooms (orange, blue, and green) was observed to be >1000 ppm at the time of inspection. *Ensure appropriate concentration of approved disinfectant is available and maintained.* Provide appropriate disinfectant test strips to ensure appropriate concentration of the disinfectant is prepared.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • Observed section of the wall in the classrooms throughout the facility appeared chipped. The grey wall above the baby toys cabinet in the orange classroom was peeling away, thus wall not maintained in good repair.Repair and ensure all walls are smooth, easily cleanable, and maintained in good repair.
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • There is no disinfectant available in the purple classroom at the time of inspection. A disinfectant is necessary to ensure microbial loads are reduced to safe levels on high touch surfaces.*Please ensure disinfectant is available in the classrooms.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • Observed sleeping mats with sheets on them are being stocked together in the cabinet in the blue classroom at the time of inspection.* Ensure beddings are stored properly to protect them from contamination at all times.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • 1. Functional thermometer not available in the fridge in the pink classroom.* Ensure to provide a functional thermometer for monitoring of the fridge working condition.2. In the Yellow classroom, observed bingo daubers which did not have an Approved Product Seal in one of the bins in the cabinet. Staff mentioned that the product is used for art works by the kids. Art/craft supplies without the Approved Product Seal may be made with materials that either pose a physical hazard or are toxic.*Please either remove the bingo daubers or clearly mark them as not intended for use in the childcare facility.Ensure materials use by children are safe at all times.
