- Child sized brown chair in preschool area close to office in disrepair with ripped surfacing on seat cushion and cannot be adequately cleaned. Brown chair removed by operator for resurfacing in order to ensure adequate cleaning and disinfection possible.

- - Loose wood boards more than 7 feet in length being stored upright in entryway. - Multiple toys found in toddler room with dimensions less than 3 cm by 6 cm in size. Remove boards from entry way. Operator indicated boards will be placed into storage in evening. Ensure toys provided to children are age appropriate and do not pose a choking hazard for children less than 3 years of age. Operator removed toys identified as hazards in toddler room and to complete ongoing hazard toy checks.

- - Kitchen door propped open with bucket.- Mechanical room door unlocked. - Potted tree in toddler room with potting soil accessible to children.Ensure kitchen door is closed and mechanical room door is locked while in operation to prevent children accessing hazardous rooms. Remove potted tree from toddler room or place cover over potting soil to reduce risk of accidental soil ingestion.

- Moisture impervious surfacing on toy blocks damaged exposing cardboard underneath. Operator discarded blocks with exposed cardboard as these toys cannot be adequately cleaned and sanitized.

- - Hot water temperature at diapering hand basin measured at temperature 65.9 C. - Hot water temperature at hand basin within dual toilet washroom measured at 66.3 C. - Hot water temperature at hand basin adjacent to washrooms measured at 63.0 C. - Hot water temperature at hand basin within washroom with single toilet measured at 63.9 C. Operator must ensure maximum water temperature at point of use where children have access is measured at 49°C or less to avoid burns.
