    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • Preschool and Green Turtle: Pushpins are used in the room. Please remove the push pins as these may fall onto the floor and injure a child. Use tape or sticky tacks instead.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Brown Bears: Children's art was stored on top of the diapering mat. Please ensure the diapering area is only used for diapering purposes.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 2. Preschool Room: The edges of the sleeping mats are in disrepair. Please replace them.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • 1. Green Turtles: Some children’s bedding was observed touching others. Please ensure that each child’s bedding is stored separately and does not come into contact with that of other children.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Home-made playdough prepared with regular flour was observed in the classroom. Please ensure that only heat-treated flour is used when making playdough. The playdough was discarded.

      • 1. There were 2 wet cleaning cloths found at the hand wash sink in the brown room. 2. There is a build up of equipment/materials around the toilets in the blue and green rooms.1. Please ensure wet cleaning cloths are placed in a bin/container for laundering after they have been used and new cloths or paper towels are used to clean and disinfect surfaces.2. Please ensure these areas remain clutter free.
