      • Operator stated that they were using windex for surfaces. Windex is not an approved disinfectant. Lysol disinfectant was available onsite. Ensure disinfectant with DIN such as the available lysol is used for disinfecting non-critical surfaces (chairs, treatment bed).

      • The following areas required cleaning:- Carpet under treatment bed. Clean or remove carpet. - Blanket on treatment bed- Storage drawers in service room

      • 1. Disinfectant in soaking tray did not pass test. Replace and re-disinfect tools with high level disinfectant. 2. There was no high-level disinfectant on-site. Obtain high level disinfectant for semi-critical tools (tweezers for eyelash extensions).
    • 30. Is the reprocessing area of a personal service facility that uses reusable equipment properly designed, managed and maintained to ensure the safety of clients?
      • Sink used for reprocessing semi-critical equipment was also being used for washing staff dishes. Sink must be dedicated for reprocessing only and cannot be used for washing food dishes.
