    • 49(2)(b) Before being placed in the dry storage room or designated area, opened packages of food ingredients and food packaging materials must be (b) clearly identified as to content.
      • In accordance with section 3.7.4 (b) of the NS Food Retail and Food Services Code b. Refrigerated ready-to-eat potentially hazardous foods, prepared and held for more than 24 hours, shall be marked with the date of preparation or the “consume by” date. In general, refrigerated ready-to-eat potentially hazardous foods shall be discarded if not consumed within seven days from the date of preparation. Ensure all products are dated after opening in the refrigerator.
