      • 1. Single-use equipment was not being discarded after each use. Unclean and used nail files were observed with clean equipment basket in the reprocessing area. - Ensure single use nail files are discarded after each use.2. Used and unclean nail drill sanding bands were observed at a nail station. - Please discard.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The facility was using PreEmpt RTU solution that was expired as of May 2024.- Operator is to replace solution immediately.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • Improper cleaning practice for contact surfaces such as nail counters, client chairs, and stool was observed as operator was using alcohol solution to clean and disinfect.- As discussed, please ensure low or intermediate level disinfectants are being used.
