      • The cupboard under the sink containing Lysol wipes and Lysol toilet cleaner in the starfish room was not locked and was accessible by childern. -Please ensure chemicals are stored in a locked cupboard that is not accessible by children.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • An open bag of potting soil was stored within reach of children in the bunnies room. -Please ensure potting soil is stored in a locked cabinet where it is not accessible by children.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • In the Starfish room and Dolphins room ceiling tiles were missing in the center beam of the room. - Please ensure ceiling tiles are repaired.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • 1) First kits in all rooms were either missing wipes or bandages. - Please ensure all rooms have fully stocked first aid kits.2) All kits were missing CPR barrier. - Please ensure all kits have a CPR barrier.

      • The diapering tables in the turtle's room has dust and debris accumulated under the changing mat. - Please ensure to clean the diapering tables.

      • Foam toys in bunnies room had bite marks. - Please ensure to go through foam toys regularly, and take out any worn off toys, as they are not easily cleanable.

      • 1) The bed linens for different children stored in the cots un the bunnies room were touching each other. -Please ensure the bedding is stored in a way that prevents cross contamination.2) The sleeping cots was not labeled. - Please ensure cots that are being reused for each child are labeled with individual's name.

      • 1) The highchairs in turtles room were stored in the washroom. - Please ensure no food related equipment is stored in the washroom.2) In the turtles room client water bottles were stored around the splash zone of the handwashing sink. - Please ensure water bottles are stored in a way that prevents contamination of the bottles.3) In busy bee's room a pack of freeze-dried fruits was found stored in the washroom.4) In the Bunnies room a pack of smarties was found in the washroom. - Please ensure that no food is stored in the washroom at anytime.
