      • There was antiseptic product available for use prior to nanoneedling services.Obtain an antiseptic that has a valid Drug Identification Number (DIN) or Natural Product Number (NPN).
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • There was no disinfectant available for the clippersObtain a disinfectant suitable disinfectant with a Drug Identification Number DIN
    • 21. Is equipment that is intended to be sterile maintained sterile at the point of use?
      • Sterility assurance documentation was not being documented with corresponding client record.- Maintain sterility assurance documentation for all pre-purchased sterile items with the corresponding client record to ensure traceability
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Critical)?
      • The operator informed the inspector that Dermalogica serums and cosmetic products are being administered during and after nanoneedling. The products do not have a Drug identification number or Natural product number. Discontinue use of the products until the manufacturer obtains proper Health Canada authorization (DIN or NPN).
