Ensure equipment is fully immersed in solution.- High level disinfectants are not being tested and verified daily using proper test strips. Ensure the high-level disinfectant is tested daily using the test strips specified by the disinfectant manufacturer.- Disinfection records were not available. Ensure records are kept of: test dates, whether the solution passed/failed, when the disinfectant was changed and the worker’s initials who performed the activity.
