     • Antiseptic alcohol wipe with NPN and without NPN/DINwere both available in the piecing room, and the wipe without NPN/DIN/MDL came with the cartridge.- Refrain from using the antiseptic wipe without NPN/DIN.
   • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
     • 70% alcohol solution without a NPN/DIN was used as disinfectant in the waxing room, the solution doesn't have a disinfectant claim.- Refrain from using alcohol or any solution without a NPN/DIN and manufacturer instructions for tool reprocessing. Preempt CS20 is used as surface disinfectant.- Ensure the manufacturer instructions are followed, the solution is not for surface disinfect. Lysol wipes are available for surface disinfecting.Selecting the Right Disinfectant for your Personal Services Business sent by email.Preempt CS20 solution concentration was confirmed with expired test strips.- Obtain valid test strips, until then discard solution daily.

   • 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
     • There were a few used mascara wands found in the drawers of room 4.Please ensure all single-use disposable items are discarded after use on each client.
   • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
     • The metal foot files are being disinfected in an intermediate level disinfectant (Preempt RTU). Metal foot files must be disinfected in a high level disinfectant (such as Preempt CS20). The operator acknowledged this and will be changing the signage and process immediately.
