      • Hand drying paper towel was not available at the hand washing sink.-Please provide and ensure paper towels are available at all hand sink stations.

      • Bleach was being used to disinfect pedicure basin and the preempt RTU seen onsite was expired.-Please procure and use effective preempt RTU to disinfect the pedicure basin after the cleaning step.

      • The reprocessing area was cluttered with extraneous items.-Please keep the reprocessing area free from unnecessary items to prevent tools contamination.

      • 1. There was no precaution laser beam signage posted on the entrance door of the laser room.-Please place a clear and visible laser beam precaution signage on the door to the laser room.2. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer had expired since July 2022.-Please procure and use effective hand sanitizer to ensure proper hand hygiene procedures.

      • There was no written procedure for skin cleansing and decontamination of sink available onsite.-Please print, fill and make available onsite the indicated written procedures.AHS written procedure website was shown to the operator during the inspection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. Reusable semi-critical tools such as nail clippers and drill bits were disinfected with alcohol.-Please procure and use high-level disinfectant such as preempt CS20 or HLD5 to sanitize such tools to ensure proper disinfection.2. Pedicure basins were disinfected with bleach solution.-Please use preempt RTU to sanitize the pedicure basins to ensure proper disinfection.
    • 25. Are the equipment manufacturer's instructions for use of specific equipment available and followed?
      • There was no manufacturer's operating manual for any of the energy-emitting equipment onsite.-Please provide or have available at all times the manufacturer's manual for all energy-emitting equipment.
