      • The main washroom had a strong moldy smell. This issue has been brought up before. The area under the sinks cannot be sealed up, there needs to be access for maintenance and air flow. Open up the space beneath, clean up and re finish the area with cabinetry/shelving as an accessible area as per the needs of the space ie) diaper storage.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Infant room storage was crowded Only 5 cubby slots for 7 childrenitems need to be physically separated via cubbies or 12" apart if not barrier between

      • Chlorine solution bottles were unlabelled throughout the facility. The operators labelled the bottles.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The raw wooden under-sink space in the washroom needs finishing so that the surface is smooth durable, and easy to clean. Please ensure all surfaces in the facility are designed to be cleaned and maintained effectively.

    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • It was noted that children items on hooks especially baby room were crowded, overlapping, touching. Space items out to at least 12" between hooks, use other storage areas if available or physically separate via a bag for each.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Baby room: diaper change pad was resting against the mini fridge. Please find an alternative storage spot, out of reach of children and away from food related surfaces.
