The operator continues to use PreEmpt RTU, an intermediate-level disinfectant, which does not satisfy the requirements for semi-critical device reprocessing.ACTION REQUIRED:1) Immediately purchase a High-Level Disinfectant (such as PreEmpt CS20 or an equivalent HLD solution). PreEmpt RTU must only be used as a low-to-intermediate disinfectant for non-critical surfaces and tools.2) Purchase the appropriate chemical test strips for the selected high-level disinfectant.3) Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the use of the high-level disinfectant, and maintain disinfectant logs as required by the Personal Services Standards.

The tweezers require a high-level disinfection.** All the PreEmpt disinftant and wipes on site expired in 2022**Combs used at the hairstyling station are not being disinfected. The operator simply washes and dry them.
