Nail Nerd Studio

103 - 398 St. Albert Trail St. Albert AB T8N 5J9 · Personal Services

Inspection summary

Nail Nerd Studio has been inspected 3 times by Alberta Health Services (Environmental Public Health) since November 5, 2024. The most recent inspection, on September 22, 2026, recorded 1 infraction.

None of the 3 inspections on record were free of infractions. In the past 12 months there were 2 inspections with 4 infractions recorded. All recorded findings relate to upkeep, equipment or paperwork rather than direct infection-control risks to clients.

What these findings mean

Health authorities word their findings differently, so we group them by what they mean for clients. In personal service settings like salons, spas and tattoo studios, higher-risk findings are the ones that could spread infection from one client to the next, through broken skin, blood or instruments that were not properly cleaned and sterilized.

  • Equipment and utensilsLower risk

Instruments, chairs, tables and footbaths must be made of materials that can be cleaned, kept in good repair and stored so they stay clean. Single-use items such as nail files, buffers, razors and needles must be thrown away after each client.

Recorded 4 times across 2 separate inspections, most recently on September 22, 2026. For example: Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?

  • Other findingsLower risk

Findings that do not fit the categories above, such as follow-ups that confirm an earlier violation was corrected, or requirements specific to this type of facility.

Recorded once on November 5, 2024. For example: Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
