    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • The current food handling permit was not posted in the facility at the time of the inspection.Ensure that the current permit is posted in a location that is visible to the public.

    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • 1. Sanitizer solution was made of soap and water. 2. Cleaning cloth was left out on the counter.Correction:-Observed operator make the bleach sanitizer solution and measured it to be 200 ppm.-Educated operator to use bleach sanitizer to clean and sanitize instead of soap-Educated operator to keep cleaning cloth in the bleach sanitizing solution bucket
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Screen doors were not installed on the main entrance door and side door of the food facility. Both doors were open during the inspection and flying insects were observed in the food handling area. Correction:-Ensure that screens are in place to prevent the entry of pest and vermin into the facility
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • At the time of the inspection, soiled ice cream scoops were being held in contained containers of warm water. This practice allows for conditions that are favorable for potential bacterial growth.Without an installed dipper well, in service scoops should be kept inside of the ice cream containers (handles up) or washed in the dishwashing sink after use.
