- F2.3 Are food contact surfaces, utensils and equipment washed and sanitized in a manner that removes/prevents contamination?
- Observation(s): Observed the mechanical dishwasher to be non-functional. Operator was instructed to either repair the current dishwasher or order a new one, as the facility is not equipped with a three-compartment sink. In the meantime, dishes must be manually washed using the two-compartment sink.
- F2.3A Mechanical dishwasher/glasswasher must provide sufficient washing and sanitizing action to remove contamination.
- F2.7 Are there handwashing stations available and properly supplied?
- Observation(s): 1) Observed the handwashing sink behind the bar to be covered with a cutting board and obstructed by a garbage can, making it inaccessible. Handwashing sinks must remain accessible at all times to ensure proper hand hygiene. 2) Observed the handwashing sink in the kitchen area to have no supply of hot water and to be obstructed by kegs. Operator must restore hot water to the sink immediately. The facility has been permitted to remain open temporarily, as only reheated pizza is provided onsite. Staff must use the handwashing sink behind the bar until the kitchen sink is functional.
