      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - the Food Handling Permit is current (expiry date of February 28, 2027) and is to be kept continually posted on the side wall at the front sales counter area, visible to the public.

      • No - there were some missing fluorescent light tube covers (i.e. protective shields) in the rear kitchen area. The operator is to ensure all fluorescent light tubes and/or light bulbs in the food prep and food storage areas are adequately fitted with light covers or protective shields.

      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - there were no supplies of liquid hand soap and paper towels at the main kitchen hand-wash sink. Note to ensure supplies are available directly at all hand-wash sinks, even if the dispensers are in disrepair. This violation was corrected at time of inspection (with liquid hand soap pump and paper-towels provided).

      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - there were bowls being used as utensils/scoops for dry food storage, and being stored inside the dry food storage containers (immersed in the dry food product). Staff are to ensure all utensils/scoops used for dry food products are those types with handles, so that the utensil/scoop does not become immersed in the dry food product at any time. This was corrected at time of inspection, with all such bowls removed from the dry food storage containers and washed in the dishwasher.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - there was no supply of disposable paper towels in the dispenser at the front open food prep area.Staff are to ensure all hand-wash sinks are accessible and unobstructed, with available hot and cold running water under pressure, and with a supply of liquid soap and paper towels at all times.
