      • Operator replaced expired (November 2, 2024) CS20 right after inspection with one expiring August 8, 2025.Please ensure isopropyl alcohol used for disinfecting has:1. A disinfectant claim on the label and denotes what it is effective against.2. a DIN or NPN.In the meantime, please use an alternate intermediate disinfectant for the sanding drill bits.Please maintain high llevel disinfectant logs.

      • No written procedures available on site. Discussed with manager and written templates were given to start written safe procedures including high level disinfectant logs for safe and sanitary practices.
    • 09. Is a point of service risk assessment being performed of the condition of the client and of the equipment to be used on the client prior to performing a personal service?
      • Operator stated he still proceed to provide services even with presence of possible skin infections. - Reviewed and discussed with the operator the importance of considering skin conditions before providing services, such as assessing the presence of bacterial skin infections, etc. Services cannot be rendered until clearance is obtained from a doctor. Education provided.
    • 11. Is post-service care provided by personal service workers following any personal service or accident where a client's skin or mucous membrane is cut or punctured during a personal service, or when energy-emitting equipment is used?
      • No written procedure for post-service care available on site.Reviewed and discussed with the operator. A written procedure template was given to the operator for post-service-care and to be filled in.
