- Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Foods (bag of rice) were left on the floor at the storage area. (Public Health significance) - Leaving food or food product on the floor can cause contamination of food which might lead foodborne illness.
- Corrective Action: Operator aware to keep food 15cm or 6'' above the floor.
- 301 - Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
- Observation: The rice cooker has pealed from the inside and has some rust around the rims.( public health significance). this will make cleaning of the equipment difficult and it might harbour some pathogens which might lead to foodborne illness. In addition, the rusted rims could fall into food and become a physical hazards that can cause choking if mistakenly swallowed.
- Corrective Action: The manger aware to label the cooker as '' out of use'' until it's replaced.
