- Operator took over ownership at the beginning of December and did not inform Public Health. This meant that the food-handling permit posted was invalid as it was not under the current owner.The inspector informed the owner of the requirement to fill out an official application before operating. An application was sent in and based on the inspection conducted, the facility was approved. ENSURE:Public Health is informed and a food-handling permit application is sent in if a new restaurant is started or if there is an ownership change.
