    • 23(1)(b) All equipment and utensils used to process, prepare, store, serve, sell or display food must be designed, constructed, installed and maintained to (b) allow adequate cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance.
      • The glassware washer in the eatery area measured 0 ppm for iodine sanitizer. Repair the glass washer to dispense at least 25 ppm iodine sanitizer. Discontinue the use of this glassware washer and use the three-compartment sink or the other dish washer until it gets fixed.

    • 29(2)(b) A maintenance, cleaning and sanitation program must include procedures to ensure that all of the following are done: (b) insects, rodents and other pests are controlled;
      • Rodent droppings were observed in the trays in the lower rack with bottled spices. All areas with rodent droppings were cleaned and sanitized during the time of inspection.
    • 29(2)(b) A maintenance, cleaning and sanitation program must include procedures to ensure that all of the following are done: (b) insects, rodents and other pests are controlled;
      • Flies were observed in the eatery area near to the hand wash. The manager on-site mentioned they have a fly trap on order. Fly trap must be installed in this area.
    • 19(2)(b) A food establishment must provide all of the following in accordance with applicable legislation or as considered acceptable by the Administrator: (b) adequately designed and appropriately located hand-washing facilities;
      • The paper towel dispenser in the family public washroom was empty. Paper towel is required for proper hand washing practices. Paper towel dispenser was restocked at time of inspection.
    • 19(2)(b) A food establishment must provide all of the following in accordance with applicable legislation or as considered acceptable by the Administrator: (b) adequately designed and appropriately located hand-washing facilities;
      • The hand washing sink in the Eatery bar area had no hand soap. Hand soap is required for proper hand washing practices.
