It was addressed during the inspection. Ensure that the concentration of the Preempt CS20 solution is confirmed using the test strip, and the solution is only used when the concentration is adequate.

      • No testing of high-level disinfectant was conducted since March 13, 2025. It was addressed during the inspection. Ensure that testing is conducted daily, and the results are recorded.

      • Used single use tools, including buffing block and nail files, were observed at working stating. They were discarded during the inspection. Ensure that single-use tools are discarded after the use on one client.
    • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
      • Two pedicure baths fans had debris and were not visibly clean, and some nail clippers observed in the clean storage were rusted and not visibly clean. Fans were washed and rusted tools were discarded during the inspection.

      • No testing of high-level disinfectant was conducted, as required, since July 7, 2024, and the test strips expired on April 30, 2024. Obtain new test strips and ensure that testing is conducted daily.

      • The disinfecting solution used for disinfection of tools (Preempt CS20) was not used according to the manufacturer's instructions: it was reported that the tools were immersed in the disinfectant for 5 minutes, and not 20 minutes, as specified by the manufacturer.
