    • 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
      • Used single use tools, including buffing block and nail files, were observed at working stating. They were discarded during the inspection. Ensure that single-use tools are discarded after the use on one client.
    • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
      • Two pedicure baths fans had debris and were not visibly clean, and some nail clippers observed in the clean storage were rusted and not visibly clean. Fans were washed and rusted tools were discarded during the inspection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • No testing of high-level disinfectant was conducted, as required, since July 7, 2024, and the test strips expired on April 30, 2024. Obtain new test strips and ensure that testing is conducted daily.
