- Preempt CS20 high level disinfectant was being used to disinfect semi-critical esthetic tools. The corresponding AHP7 test strips were not available. The high-level disinfectant solution must be tested daily and results logged. See AHS high level disinfectant log sheet at the link below:

- Hair tools were not being fully emersed in the containers of Barbicide. Fill the containers to the top or high enough that the tools are fully emersed for adequate disinfection
- 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
- An open tube of Augenblick hair dye was onsite and had been used for brow/lash tints. Label indicates it is not for use not brows or lashes. Staff indicated they usually use refectocil only. Discarded onsite.
