- 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
- Please have sanitizer (chlorine or quats) available and chemical testing strips to ensure the sanitizer is at the appropriate concentration.
- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- There are small gaps under the receiving door and the main shop door (connected back further to the grocery store). Please install weather stripping's on both doors to prevent access by pests.
- 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
- Shelving in the whole store is made of wood material.For the time being, operator will be placing plastic baskets on top of the shelving.Wood is not normally acceptable as a food contact surface. Please ensure that shelving's shall be constructed of durable materials, and be designed with smooth, impervious surfaces for easy cleaning.
