- The spray bottle of sanitizing solution in the Buttercup Room was empty. The operator refilled the bottle during the inspection.
- 15. Is laundry being properly handled in a suitable manner?
- Hand towels are available next to each sink in several areas for wiping surfaces, cleaning toys, and drying hands after handwashing. Laundry baskets for the clean and dirty hand towels/rags are present at each location. The baskets near the sink in the Orchid Room did not have signage indicating which basket was for clean towels and which was for dirty towels. The operator posted clean and dirty signage for these baskets during the inspection. Baskets in all other areas were properly labelled/identified.

- One of the fluorescent tubes was burnt out in the overhead light fixture in the bathroom adjacent to the Daisy Room.

- Decorative vines were hung from the ceiling in the infant room with thumbtacks in the ceiling tiles. Please remove the thumbtacks and use an alternate method of hanging decoration from the ceiling as there is a risk of the tacks falling on the floor, presenting a safety hazard for the children.

- The door to the adjacent kitchen area was open. Operator removed an over-door hanger during the inspection so that the door could be closed. Please continue to ensure that the kitchen area remains inaccessible to children.

- A set of shelves and a lamp were covered in dust. The operator cleaned off the shelves and lamp during the inspection.
